Kojo Biney

Kojo Biney is a Painter, designer, sculptor, performance artist, nature artist, and art Educator.

A Ghanaian contemporary artist whose works bridge prehistory and contemporary
dialogues. His style of painting springs from a symbolical fetus and figurative
silhouette of humanity to express ideas from an African perspective into
contemporary worldly discussions. He has exhibited both on local and international
platforms. His works project on circumstances and events that happen in society as
he believes art is a strong catalyst of informing and empowerment for change. He is
motivated by gatherings, groups, and human figures. His work often contains strong messages regarding the current situations and hardships in Ghana, namely it's dire economic reality, affecting all Ghanaian people and harming their ability to lead a normal & healthy life.
